Walls remember. Phones forget.
I photograph couples and families, and help turn their favorite portraits into artwork they can actually enjoy in their homes
You've been meaning to do this for a while...
But life gets busy. There's always something going on, and before you know it, another year has passed.
You've probably got plenty of pictures together on your phones. But how many of those have you actually printed?
That's something I want to help change.
I want you to have portraits that feel like you, whether you've been together for two years or forty. And I want to help you find the right place for them in your home, instead of leaving you with another folder of digital files.
What Working Together Looks Like

1.It Starts With a Conversation

We'll start by meeting in your home to talk about what you're looking for and where you'd like to display your portraits. I'll get a feel for your space, help you explore artwork options, and plan a session around what you have in mind.

2.Your Portrait Session

This is where we bring everything together! You don't need to know how to pose or worry about getting everything perfect. I'll guide you throughout the session while making room for those natural moments that show your personalities.

3.Choosing Your Artwork

After your session, we'll meet again to look through your portraits and choose your favorites. I'll help you visualize the artwork on your walls, compare sizes, and decide what works best for your home.

4.Enjoying Your Portraits

Once your artwork is finished, I'll make sure it gets to you so you can finally enjoy your portraits beyond a screen. No forgotten galleries or wondering what to print someday.

Hi, I’m Joshua.
When I was five years old, my dad passed away from a heart condition. My younger brothers were only one and three at the time. Just two weeks before he passed, we had a family portrait taken together. To this day, it's the only family portrait we have with him, and it's one of the most important photographs my family owns.
Growing up, I don't remember having many family photographs displayed around the house. Looking back, I wish we had more. That experience has shaped how I see photography today. I started Joshua Rieth Photography because I love photographing couples and families, especially the little moments when people's personalities and relationships really come through. But taking the pictures is only part of it. I want to help people get those photographs off their phones and into their homes.
Whether you're celebrating years together as a couple, watching your family grow, or simply wanting updated portraits, you don't need to wait for a special occasion. I'll help you plan your session, choose your favorite photographs, and find artwork that fits your home. Because I know firsthand how much a single photograph can mean years down the road.
