A PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE FOR YOUR CHILDREN
Every dog has a personality all their own. Maybe yours is full of energy, always ready for an adventure.
Or maybe they're happiest curled up beside you on the couch.
These are the little things that make them family.
The Pooch Portrait Experience is about celebrating that personality
and creating something you can enjoy in your home every day.
A portrait that looks and feels like your dog.
Because every member of the family deserves a place on the wall.
Every image is delivered as finished artwork, created to be displayed.
THE experience
What is the Pooch Portrait Experience?
01
A session built around your Pup
I'll get to know you and your dog before the session. We'll talk about their personality, favorite activities, and what makes them special. I'll also help you plan for artwork that fits your home.
02
Artwork made for your home
Every dog is different, and I'll work at a pace that makes your dog comfortable. Whether they're playful, curious, or a little shy, I'll guide the session to bring out their personality.

Hi, I’m Joshua.
I'm the owner of Joshua Rieth Photography, a boutique portrait studio based in Eminence, Kentucky, serving families and their pets throughout the Louisville area.
I believe the portraits we display in our homes become part of our family's story.
That belief comes from my own experience. I lost my dad when I was five years old. A portrait taken just two weeks before he passed away is one of the most meaningful things my family has today.
It's why I believe so strongly in printed portraits.
Our dogs become part of our daily lives. They greet us at the door, make us laugh, and find their own little place in our routines. I want to help you celebrate that bond with a portrait you can see and enjoy every day.

Questions?
We've got answers!
Does my auction experience include artwork?
Your experience includes a $300 credit toward custom artwork. You'll choose your favorite portraits at your ordering appointment, and I'll apply your credit to your order. Any remaining balance is purchased separately.
Can I be photographed with my dog?
Yes. You're welcome to join your dog for a few portraits. Sometimes the relationship between a dog and their person makes the most meaningful artwork.
My dog is energetic or shy. Is that okay?
Of course. Every dog has a different personality. I'll learn about your dog during our planning consultation and create a session that works with their comfort level.
Where will the session take place?
We'll choose a location that works well for your dog. That might be a familiar place where they feel comfortable or an outdoor location that suits the portraits we're planning.
LET'S CELEBRATE YOUR BEST FRIEND
Whether you're bidding on the Pooch Portrait Experience or simply love the idea of having your dog photographed, I'd love to hear about your four-legged family member.
